What you can trace free, and what costs money.
Free skip tracing here comes in two steps, both without a card. After that you pay per record, once, and nothing expires.

100 records of your own list
Upload a CSV or look up one owner at a time. The free records trace owners you bring; pulling a Florida owner list costs 0.5¢ a record and isn’t covered by them.
After that
$99 for 10,000 records
Record packs are bought once and never expire, any size from 1,000 to 200,000 records. The bigger the pack, the less each record costs.
02The manual way
How to skip trace an owner yourself.
You can find most owners’ phone numbers by hand, for free. It works for one house. A list is where it gets slow.
Get the owner from the county record
Search the county property appraiser’s or assessor’s website by the property address. The parcel record names the owner and the mailing address where the tax bill goes.
Check the mailing address
If it isn’t the property, the owner lives somewhere else: trace the owner at that address, not the house, or you reach whoever lives there now. A company or trust owner takes one more step, the state’s business registry (how).
Search the owner’s name
Search the name with the mailing address’s city and state, then compare age, relatives and past addresses until one person fits all of them. Call the number to confirm it’s theirs.
Why it’s slow at list scale
Every owner is its own search, and each one takes judgment: common names, owners who moved, homes held by a company or a trust. If each owner takes five minutes, a 500-owner list is more than 40 hours before anyone dials.
That is the part skip tracing automates. Upload the list with each owner’s name and mailing address, and every row comes back with the best phone numbers. The best one (Phone 1) carries its line type, the caller name (CNAM) checked against the owner, and a DNC flag against your list and ours. The full guide: how to skip trace →

Can I skip trace for free?
Yes. This page traces up to 3 owners with no account and no card (we ask for your email and phone), and a free account traces 100 records of your own list, still with no card. After that, tracing is paid per record in one-time packs: 10,000 records are $99, and packs never expire.
Price your list in the calculatorWhy do you ask for my email and phone?
The sample runs real traces, so we limit how often it can run, and we keep your email and phone so we can follow up about a free account. The box under the form about calls is optional: leave it unticked and the sample runs the same. We never text.
What happens after the 100 free records?
Nothing is charged on its own: there is no card on file and no subscription. When you want more, pick a pack of any size from 1,000 to 200,000 records and we email you an invoice. The records load once it is paid, and they never expire.
Price a packCan I trace a whole list for free?
Only a small one: the free records cover 100 rows of your own list, and a bigger list needs a pack. Pulling an owner list is separate from tracing it. Florida owner lists cost 0.5¢ a record to pull, and the free records don’t cover the pull.
Is skip tracing legal?
We can’t tell you what is legal for your business, and this is not legal advice. Two things we can say. Tracer data is marketing contact data only: our acceptable use policy rules out using it for credit, employment, insurance, housing or any other FCRA purpose. And the federal rules we point customers to are about the calls: the FTC’s Telemarketing Sales Rule bars sales calls to numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry unless the seller has the person’s written agreement or an established business relationship (16 CFR 310.4(b)(1)(iii)(B)), and the FCC’s rules bar autodialed or prerecorded telemarketing calls to cell phones without the person’s prior express written consent (47 CFR 64.1200(a)(2)). We flag each owner’s best number (Phone 1) against your do-not-call list and ours; checking the National Do Not Call Registry is your job.
