When each one makes sense.
Stay on PropStream alone if…
you're on Pro or Elite, or have PropStream Connect on Essentials, and the skip tracing it includes covers your volume. Then the traces are already paid for.
Add Tracer if…
you're on Essentials paying per contact, you trace more than your plan includes, or you want the best number's line type and caller name (CNAM) checked against the owner before you dial.

How much does PropStream charge for skip tracing?
On PropStream's pricing page (checked October 4, 2026), skip tracing is 12¢/contact on the Essentials plan ($99/mo). Pro ($199/mo) and Elite ($699/mo) include PropStream Connect with “Free Skip Tracing”, then “Additional Skip Tracing: 10¢/contact”. On Essentials, Connect is an add-on “from $30/month with 14 days free”.
Is skip tracing free on PropStream?
In PropStream's own words (both pages checked October 4, 2026): its pricing page lists “Free Skip Tracing” with PropStream Connect, included on Pro (“$6,000 Value”) and Elite (“$12,000 Value”) and an add-on “from $30/month” on Essentials. Its Connect page says “Included monthly skip traces equal your plan’s number of account saves”. Past that, Pro and Elite list “Additional Skip Tracing: 10¢/contact”; Essentials without Connect lists “Skip Tracing: 12¢/contact”.
PropStream Connect’s pageCan I upload my PropStream export as it is?
Yes. Export the list from PropStream and upload the CSV without changing it. In a PropStream export the Address columns are the property, and the Mailing Address columns are where the owner gets mail. Tracer reads both on its own and traces the mailing address, so an absentee owner comes back as the owner and not the tenant.
Do I have to cancel PropStream?
No. PropStream is a full property-data platform: lists, comps and marketing. Tracer only does the skip trace. Plenty of people keep PropStream for finding properties and send the lists to Tracer to find the owners' phones.
What does 10,000 skip traces cost on Tracer?
