How much does skip tracing cost?

Beyond the sticker price
Four costs that don’t show up per record.
1. Credits that expire
A cheap monthly plan isn’t cheap if half the credits vanish at the end of the month. Tracer packs never expire.
2. Paying twice for the same owner
Lists overlap month to month. On Tracer, owners you already traced come back from cache free.
3. Wrong numbers
The biggest cost is caller time spent on numbers that don’t reach the owner. Carrier line type and a CNAM check against the owner’s name cut those out before you dial.
4. DNC exposure
Every Tracer record is checked against your suppression list, with the federal registry scrub available as an add-on. You stay responsible for TCPA compliance.

How much does skip tracing cost per record?
Most skip tracing tools charge between $0.10 and $0.25 per record. LeadsUp Tracer record packs cost 0.99¢ per record at 10,000 records and go down to 0.63¢ per record at 200,000.
Do I pay for records that don't find a number?
Yes. Tracer charges per record you send, like most skip tracing tools. That is why the hit rate matters as much as the price. We aim for 90%+ overall, and if a batch misses we re-run the misses free.
Do skip tracing credits expire?
Tracer record packs never expire. The balance stays on your account until you use it. Many tools sell monthly credits that are lost if you don't use them.
Are there setup fees or a monthly minimum?
No. Record packs are pay as you go, with no setup fee and no contract. Monthly plans are available if you prefer them.
What costs extra?
Live-carrier verification is +2¢ per record and a market data pull (owners pulled by filter) is +0.5¢ per record. The federal DNC registry scrub is an optional add-on. Re-tracing a record you already traced is free.
